Ive decided that the best way to stay in touch with the community would be to create small articles. These of course are just things i see and experience in society that i find to be interesting, you are free to send any responses to me and i will read them. Sorry i havent had anything up in a long while for anyone who might enjoy these ramblings of nothings. But to tell you the truth nothing major has happened where its worth talking about. Yeah there is a war, but big deal. Um gas prices went down and thats what i think im going to talk about. As everyone knows gas for a while was $1.73. Now i being a typical poor kid who works maybe 3 to 6 hours a week at my wonderful motel cleaning job, has quite a difficult time putting gas in my car so i can get where i am going. I drive a 1985 Pontiac 6000. It has a 2.8 litre V6 in it which, at the time in the 80's a.k.a. brand new got somewhere around 17-20 mpg. Now i might get 10, since i am well over 100,000 miles. So i use my lunch money to put gas in my car. And for a long time when gas was at 1.40 and such i could put my 3 dollars in and get something close to 3 gallons of gas = something like 30 miles of driving. But as we all know the prices reached 1.73 and well 3 dollars doesnt get me very far. Thankfully we are down to 1.65 which still isnt great but i am enjoying it to the fullest. Im still hoping we get back down to 1.39 or maybe even 1.30.. well i'll keep my fingers crossed.. i have to go have fun now.. bye
